April is Child Abuse Prevention Month
This year, our theme for Child Abuse Prevention Month is “Childhoods Matter.” We chose this theme to remind our community that every child deserves a safe, healthy, and happy childhood. Protecting children means more than responding to abuse—it means educating others, recognizing warning signs, speaking up, and creating environments where children feel safe, heard, and valued. When we work together to protect and nurture childhood, we help children grow with confidence, hope, and opportunity.
Childhoods matter so we...
educate.
advocate.
investigate.
counsel.
believe.
report.
Because childhood doesn’t just shape who children are today—it shapes who they will become tomorrow.
